1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address. Passwords are managed by our authentication provider and are not accessible to us. Payment information is processed and stored by our payment processor — we do not store credit card numbers or billing details on our servers.

2. Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage data such as processing time and editor selections to improve the service. This data is not linked to personally identifiable information.

3. Audio & Subtitle Data

Audio files uploaded for processing are deleted immediately after the transcription is complete. Subtitle and transcription data are generated during processing and are not stored on our servers after the results are delivered to you.

4. BYOK API Keys

If you provide your own API keys (Bring Your Own Key), they are used only in memory during request processing and are discarded immediately afterward. We do not store, log, or transmit your API keys to any third party.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following categories of third-party services to deliver our product:

  • AI Processing: Google Gemini API — used to analyze content and generate editing structures. Audio data is sent for processing and is subject to Google's API Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • Speech Recognition: Gladia API — used to transcribe audio into subtitles. Audio data is sent for processing and is subject to Gladia's Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
  • Authentication — provided by a third-party authentication platform.
  • Payment Processing — provided by a third-party payment platform.

In all cases:

  • Audio data is transmitted only for the purpose of processing and is deleted from our servers immediately after completion.
  • We do not store audio data beyond the processing session.
  • We do not opt in to any AI training programs offered by these providers.
  • BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) users interact with these services directly under their own API agreements.

6. Cookies

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for authentication and core functionality
  • No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies are used

7. Data Deletion

When you delete your account, all associated data — including usage records and subscription information — is permanently deleted from our systems.

8. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:

  • Contract: Processing necessary to provide our service (account management, editing processing)
  • Consent: Cookie usage, marketing communications (if applicable)
  • Legitimate interest: Service improvement, usage analytics, fraud prevention

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Right to rectification: Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data

10. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence. We use third-party services for authentication, payment processing, speech recognition, and AI processing. These services may process data in different jurisdictions. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for all international data transfers.

11. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by applicable law.

12. Data Sales

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
